Access to the  world....

"Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline"

davegraveline.jpg (27261 bytes)

"Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline" was delighted to be the first live national broadcast to use the new Comrex ACCESS Codec as we launched our 11th Season, broadcasting from the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on Sunday, January 8th, 2006. The operation was the easiest and smoothest ever and while we used a Comrex BlueBox as a stand-by dial-up unit, we never had to switch to that -- even once -- during our live 3-hour broadcast!
Into Tomorrow's Technical Director Chris Graveline was most impressed with the ease of use and simple interface with a standard web browser.  He said " being able to just click 'connect' once could not have been easier " and we loved the Audio Metering display on several laptops that also looked very cool in our Broadcast Booth!  One of our staff back in Miami was even able to see exactly what we were watching on the User Interface in Vegas.

The Comrex ACCESS unit worked perfectly on the same broadband line that we were using to stream our live audio on the Internet, check Email, visit our guest's web sites and view our web cameras throughout the show ... with plenty of bandwidth left over.

With our ISDN costs climbing and soon not even being able to have the use of ISDN any longer as many phone companies are abandoning that much older technology ...THIS is definitely the way that the Advanced Radio Network will deliver our programs from now on!
We will continue to ACCESS the future ... all the way "Into Tomorrow".

Stay tuned ... "Into Tomorrow"!

Eagle PLUS

eagleplus.jpg (11693 bytes)

2.4 GHz Eagle PLUS™

Field Proven in Thousands of Installations Worldwide

» Range up to 4 miles
» 4 User-selectable channels
» Data pass-through mode
» Energy saving standby mode
» Stereo audio transmission
» NTSC/PAL with 460 lines horizontal resolution
» 30 Frames per second
» Rugged all-weather construction, NEMA 4X rated
» Dual Virtual Wire™ contact closures with discrete outputs

The Eagle PLUS™ is the most versatile 2.4 GHz wireless video system on the market today. While delivering high resolution, full motion video up to four miles line-of-sight, the Eagle PLUS also offers features that make it much more than a wireless video system. As with the Falcon PLUS, the Eagle PLUS is capable of transmitting two channels of audio (STEREO) or single-channel audio along with two Virtual Wire™ contact closures. Sensors, alarms and detectors can be wired to the transmitter to take advantage of this feature. In data pass-through mode Eagle PLUS functions as a wireless, single-direction data transmitter that can provide mono audio transmission while passing RS232 at data rates from 1200 to 9600 baud.

The Eagle PLUS also features a proprietary Secure Standby mode which, when enabled, allows the system to go into “sleep” mode until an alarm input is detected. This feature saves power in battery-dependant (or solar powered) applications and it also eliminates all radio-frequency output, rendering the system undetectable to frequency monitoring.

The Eagle PLUS™ is FCC and Industry Canada approved and requires no path license.

EAGLE PLUS FOUR MILE SYSTEM $2249.00

Falcon PLUS

falcon5.8.jpg (18404 bytes)

5.8 GHz Falcon PLUS™

The High Performance Video/Audio/Data Transmission Solution

» Range up to 7 miles
» 12 User-selectable channels
» Data pass-through mode
» Energy saving standby mode
» Stereo audio transmission
» NTSC/PAL with 460 lines horizontal resolution
» 30 Frames per second
» Rugged all-weather construction, NEMA 4X rated
» Dual Virtual Wire™ contact closures with discrete outputs
The Falcon PLUS™ is a simple, cost-effective, and field-proven solution which delivers high-resolution, real-time, full-motion video up to seven miles line-of-sight at a fraction of the cost of licensed microwave systems and fiber networks. Operating in the unlicensed 5.8 GHz ISM band, the Falcon Plus offers unmatched wireless video performance and a ready-to-install solution for hard-to-reach, remote PTZ or fixed cameras. Boasting twelve user-selectable channels, the Falcon Plus can support multiple camera installations and simultaneous data transmission up to 9600 bps.

The system is capable of transmitting two channels of audio or single-channel audio along with two Virtual Wire™ contact closures. Sensors, alarms, and detectors can be wired to the transmitter to take advantage of this feature. In data pass-through mode Falcon PLUS also functions as a wireless, single-direction data transmitter that can provide mono audio transmission while passing RS232 at data rates from 1200 to 9600 baud with provisions for RS422 and RS485 through the use of our optional LC485/422 module. Using the data pass-through mode it is possible to control PTZ cameras.

By integrating the Falcon Plus wireless system into the complete CCTV or traffic monitoring solution, integrators and installers save the inconvenience and high cost of stringing fiber to every camera location. And, through the use of the 5.8 GHz band and polarized antennas, users can realize the best possible video transmission quality with maximum immunity to interference.

The Falcon Plus also features a proprietary Secure Standby mode which, when enabled, allows the system to go into “sleep” mode until an alarm input is detected. Not only does this feature save power in battery-dependant (or solar powered) applications, but it also eliminates all radio-frequency output, rendering the system undetectable to frequency monitoring. With all of these features, it is no wonder the Falcon Plus has been utilized in a wide variety of security and broadcasting applications.

The Falcon PLUS™ is FCC and Industry Canada approved and requires no path license.
