The "X" series of AM Transmitters.

The Model 235 incorporates all audio processing needs for AM broadcasting in a single, easy-to-use package. "Gain-riding" AGC is followed by variable low- and high-frequency EQ, 3-band compression, an asymmetrical, integrated limiter/clipper peak controller, and a low-pass function that satisfies NRSC or other "audio mask" specifications. A rear-panel RS-232 data port allows the processing presets to be programmed or updated by computer or modem; the necessary software is included.

Offered at 500 watts and 1KW these compact Solid State Transmitters are HD Radio ready. They feature Optimized multiphase modulation, 90% PA efficiency with 80% overall efficiency (AC in to RF out). Housed in a heavy duty aluminum chassis they easily fit into a 19" rack taking up only 7 rack spaces (12.25")and they feature hot pluggable 600 watt modules. The "X" series has three power level settings, that can be easily field set, to give you versatility for full power and pre sunrise/post sunset power adjustment. They are capable of 150% positive modulation and offer complete remote control capability via a rear mounted DB 25 connector.

The Model 525 - a second-generation AM Mod-Monitor. The 525 is menu-driven with a peak-hold LCD display showing simultaneous positive and negative modulation, incoming RF level and asynchronous noise. Measurement bandwidth extends to more than 10kHz, but a programmable low-pass audio filter can simulate the response of consumer radios or the effects of transmission bandwidth constraints. The 525 is supplied with an outdoor large aperture loop antenna.
